Toshiba unveils first glasses-free 3-D HDTV for consumers

More 3D-related gadgets are making their way into the market nowadays. The latest brand to release a 3-D-related gadget is none other than Toshiba. Toshiba has unveiled a new line of 3D HDTVs to be launched soon.
Toshiba has finally unveiled a new range of HDTVs that come without glasses. This is certainly a development for the brand as people have been wondering how long they will have to watch 3D content with the help of glasses.
These HDTVs form part of Toshiba’s Regza range of 3D HDTVs. The first is a 20-inch model under the name of 20GL1 and the second one is a 12-inch portable set named 12GL1. Both HDTVs are the firsts around that don’t require viewers to wear polarized or active eye-masking glasses to view the three dimensional illusion. Both of these HDTVs are meant to be used at home.
