TomTom ONE 140s

The TomTom ONE 140s is a portable GPS navigator designed with a 3.5-inch touch screen QVGA anti-glare colour TFT display, 320-by-240-pixels high resolution (supports 64K colours), a Quick Menu, which allows users to choose up to six common functions (from a list of 10) for easy access through the display using a shortcut icon, plus an Advanced Lane Guidance (ALG) that can provide photorealistic images enabling users to identify complex multi-lane exits easily. This GPS gadget is fitted with IQ Routes technology, 2D maps and 2D views, 3D maps and 3D views, more that 7 million Points of Interests (POIs), and has the ability to customize map screen information. It features a built-in safety camera database, Map Share feature, multiple route planning, speed-limit indications and camera warning, and route avoidance. Besides that, it also support PC connectivity with its USB mass storage device, 2 GB Flash memory for additional storage, and it comes with an EasyPort mount that fits onto the back of the device enabling the whole navigation set to fit into your pocket, bag or glove compartment.
The TomTom ONE 140s offers an IQ Routes Technology that can provide the fastest route by using actual average speeds of travel to calculate throughout the journey. This feature will calculates optimal routes based on average speeds for every 5 minutes of the day on any day of the week, and it also able to collect information from TomTom users if they are using the TomTom Home software. The end result is more realistic than the ETA estimations received from the speed-limit-only data. The device is also equipped with an Advanced Lane Guidance feature that uses a photorealistic image enabling users to identify complex multi-lane exits easily and focusing more on driving. Its entry database of more than 7 million Points of Interests (POIs) where you can search for specific destination according to State, Suburb, Street or, Point of Interest (POI) in helping you easily find accommodation places, petrol stations, restaurants or other places throughout your journey. In addition, with the TomTom Map Share technology, the system also allows you to instantly modify street names, street direction, POIs, road speeds, and turn restrictions on the device for updating current information of the maps. Besides that, it also has the “Help Me!” menu where this added safety features enable easy access of the local emergency providers such as police, fire stations, or hospitals if there is any untoward incidents arise. The system also provides Text-to-Speech feature which enables users to hear a voice calling out the street names with turn-by-turn instructions along the journey enabling you to know when to make the next turn and stay focus on your driving.

Other Features
Other features include pre-loaded with maps for United States, Canada and Mexico provided by TeleAtlas, built-in speaker, a built-in antenna, easy to access volume controls from map screen, easy to access recent cities and streets, automatically powers off, icons warn against theft when powering off the device, compatible with TMC (Traffic Message Channel), plus the system includes a TomTom HOME software. It also comes with trip computer records (Quickest route , Fast/short route , Street address search) and also comes with multi-lingual display menu with languages such as Czech , Dutch , Danish , French , German , Polish , Slovak , Catalan , English , Finnish , Flemish , Italian , Latvian , Spanish , Swedish , Turkish , Estonian , Hungarian , Norwegian , Lithuanian , and Portuguese. The TomTom ONE 140 has a dimension of 3.6-inch in width, 0.8-inch in depth, 3.0-inch in height, weighs in at 6.8 ounces (including mount), and it is powered by an internal lithium-ion battery that has an average battery life up to 3 hours of usage.
