Reviews
“Both very solid and highly reviewed products, both the Samsung LN52A650 review scores and KDL-52W4100 review scores are nearly perfect and top of the bunch in television as of summer 2008. If you’re a crazy optimizer, tuner and electronics geek, I would probably say go with the Samsung LN52A650 for its more customizable experience… If you’re the more common family shopper, the Sony Bravia KDL 52W4100 offers a simpler, easier experience and is quite future proof with its expandable options. 50/50, both are solid stellar television and you wouldn’t be wrong to pick either one in my opinion” (HDTVTutors, 2009)
“The Sony Bravia KDL-46W4100 is a very good television, with a full feature set and excellent performance almost across the board. That said the viewing angle issue will be serious for some. If you need a TV that will sit in a room where people will be looking at it from all angles you may want to go with a Plasma like the Panasonic VIERA TH-46PZ80U. If this isn’t an issue for you, then you will be getting your money’s worth with the Sony BRAVIA KDL-46W4100. If you’re looking to spend a bit less but not miss out too much on performance you may want to take a look at the VIZIO VO47L” (Reviewed, 2009)
“The Sony W4100 series is a more budgeted version than the top of the line Z4100 series. If LCD backlighting is not a big selling point, then the W4100 is what you need. LCD backlighting does present a premium in price, but the picture quality improvement might justify the price. That’s where Sony has provided choice in the W4100 series.” (Reviews-LCD-TV, 2009)
