The KDL-46V5100 is an LCD TV that is designed for fast-moving action on screen by providing features such as Motionflow 120Hz technology which delivers smooth motion for fast-action pictures. The device also features BRAVIA Engine™ 2 digital video processor which optimizes contrast and enhances overall image detail while reducing noise, Advanced Contrast Enhancer (ACE) which consist of two main elements, dynamic backlight control and image processing. ACE adjusts the backlight level based on average scene brightness and optimizes the overall contrast of every frame to deliver deeper blacks and brighter whites; USB connectivity that allows users to connect USB-enabled MP3 player or USB flash drive directly in to this TV’s USB input and view photos on the big screen or listen to the tunes stored on the MP3 player; wireless transmission of HD audio and video, DVD player compatibility or high definition content viewing via four additional HDMI™ ports. The KDL-46V5100 also comes with optional BRAVIA Link modules. It is a 46-inch BRAVIA® V Series LCD flat panel HDTV with 50,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 16:9 Full HD 1080p Resolution Panel (1920×1080), and 7 HD inputs (4 HDMI™, 2 component and 1 PC) to connect the TV to HD components such as PLAYSTATION®3, Blu-ray Disc™ player and PC.

The Sony KDL-46V5100 is a 46-inch LCD TV (1920×1080p (Full HD)) that supports dynamic contrast (50000:1/5000:1 native) real-time image processing that results in deep blacks in darker scenes, as well as details in shadows and other dark areas of the picture. It also features Motionflow™ 120Hz technology which doubles the frame rate to help remove judder in film sources, HD content, and broadcast movies and primetime programming, creating a more fluid motion that delivers a natural and realistic viewing experience; BRAVIA Engine™ 2 fully digital video processor

The Sony KDL-46V5100 supports four HDMI™ inputs (up to 1080/60p capable), HD component input and an HD combo input (1080/60p capable), a PC input2 (HD-15 pin), USB ports, BRAVIA Link compatibility, BRAVIA® Sync capability with the ability to control CEC-enabled Sony® Handycam® camcorders and Cyber-shot® digital still cameras using the TV’s remote and an on-screen display through one-touch access.
