Sony Dash is now available

If you still remember, Sony first unveiled the Dash at the CES event earlier this year.
Don’t be mistaken by the Dash’s shape, it is not another iPad but this device is something like a stationary Internet widget station. It comes with a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen. The Sony Dash also comes with Chumby widgets.

With this device, Sony has input their own Bravia Internet Video platform which comes with many more features such as Netflix, Pandora, YouTube, and Slacker. The Dash comes with good audio quality that some said were better than what most laptops featured. Another special feature to talk about here is the alarm options provided on this device ranging from waking to random music videos.

Some experts have gotten their hands on the device and they claimed that the Dash shouldn’t be compared to Apple’s iPad as it’s much simpler, in terms of the features and all that. The Sony Dash is available now at the price of $199.
