The Sharp LC-52D85U is a 52-inch Aquos Series LCD Flat panel design HD ready TV with high dynamic image aspect ratio of 16:9, dynamic contrast ratio of 10,000:1, a high brightness level of 450cd/m2, along with 10-bit Advanced Super View (ASV) panel feature and Spectral Contrast Engine UD (Ultra Dark), plus it comes with a resolution of 1920-by-1080-pixels for enhancing its picture quality. It also has the 120Hz Fine Motion Enhanced Technology which is designed to make images more stable, refreshes a faster image within second, and reduced blurring especially on fast moving scenes. The Sharp LC-52D85U is available in a sleek design piano black colour cabinet with silver frames, and it can sits on a stand or mount it to a wall. It also comes with a Surround sound technology that provides a digital surround stereo sound from its built-in bottom mounted speaker system.

The Sharp LC-52D85U features a screen size of 52-inch wide screen LCD Flat panel (TFT active matrix technology), a 176 degrees (vertical or horizontal) viewing angle with bright, clear images and resolution of 1920-by-1080-pixels (Full HD ready) combined with a 10-Bit Advanced Super View (ASV) LCD panel designed from Sharp’s state-of-the-art Kameyama factory which include Active Color feature for providing a more lifelike picture, Active Contrast feature for a true blacks image and giving faster response time. It also uses a backlights technology that controls the level of brightness in producing amazing clarity and colour details which displays more natural picture. Besides that, it also comes with 120Hz Fine Motion Enhanced Technology system that reduces stutter; eliminate image judder during panning scenes and flickering over motion-packed images. The Sharp LC-52D85U is designed with a Surround HD sound technology with a total output power of 30W (15W each for right and left channel speakers) that provides an effect of digital surround stereo sound from its built-in speaker system complete with rich bass, high frequency detail and clear dialog, and audio controls (with Balance, Bass and Treble function).
