The Samsung UN55B7000 is a 55-inch ultra-slim (with 1.2-inch thick panel) LED LCD design HD ready TV with high dynamic image aspect ratio of 16:9, along with Samsung’s Wide Color Enhancer Pro feature and Ultra Clear panel to provide images in any lighting that are much clearer with less reflection and glare, plus it comes with a resolution of 1920-by-1080-pixels for enhancing its picture quality. It also has the Auto Motion Plus 120Hz refresh rate and the Dejudder processing system which is designed to make images more stable, refreshes a faster image within second, and reduced blurring especially on fast moving scenes. The Samsung UN55B7000 is available in black colour enclosure and it can sits on a stand that gives it a versatile swivel function or mount it to a wall. The Samsung UN55B7000 features a screen size of 55-inch wide screen LCD (TFT active matrix technology) and resolution of 1920-by-1080-pixels (HD ready) combined with a built-in image scaler to handle inputs and peak brightness for producing clear picture quality with real effect. It also uses a full array of LED technology backlights for controlling the level of brightness in producing amazing clarity and colour details which displays more natural picture. Besides that, it also comes with Auto Motion Plus 120Hz processing system that reduces stutter and flickering over motion-packed images. This technology provides a frame rate ranging from 60 to 120 frames per second without repeating the same image to make more frames, and it intelligently calculates the ‘middle’ image between frame A and frame B before inserting it in between the processor thus making a fluid transition from one frame to the next frame. Samsung also uses the Dejudder processing on this LCD and it also provides five colour temperature presets where each of it can be adjustable via a custom white balance menu; three varieties of noise reduction, including an automatic setting; a film mode to engage 2:3 pull-down (it also works with 1080i sources such as Blu-ray player); a seven-position gamma control that affects the TV’s progression from dark to light; a dynamic contrast control that adjusts picture; a “black tone” control that affects shadow detail; and also a colour space control.
The Samsung UN55B7000 is designed with SRS TruSurround HD sound technology with a total output power of 20W (with subwoofer) that provides an effect of digital surround stereo sound from its bottom speaker system complete with rich bass, high frequency detail and clear dialog, and audio controls (with Balance, Bass and Treble function). The LCD support Internet TV where it enables users to access content by using Yahoo!, Flickr, and other online TV widgets through the screen. This feature uses either a wired or wireless Ethernet connection, while user can browse the internet content using the widget-based interface and the scrollbar run at the bottom of the screen. It comes with an infrared remote control with backlit buttons and easily differentiates by size and shape.
