The PN58B550 plasma HDTV is a 58 inch device that uses the e-panel technology which reduces blurring and produces clear images. The HDTV also features 1080p high definition output which brings details and lets users enjoy a more realistic, movie experience. The PN58B550 also features Touch of Color™ which is a hint of clear-to-charcoal gray naturally blended into the traditional piano black frame; e-panel technology with FilterBright™ that minimizes glare and reflections for optimal viewing any time of day; 600Hz Subfield Motion which delivers a clear picture for sports, action, and other fast-moving scenes and 0.001ms response time minimizes blurring. The PN58B550 supports 1080p Full HD Motion output which delivers optimal viewing during fast motion while Mega Dynamic Contrast ratio creates deeper blacks and enhanced color. The PN58B550 also features built-in digital tuner (ATSC/Clear QAM), wide color enhancer which reduces the incidence of blue and green shaded areas of the picture being washed out as they would on conventional screens.
