Ricoh unveils CX4 digital camera

It seems like the season of digital camera launches isn’t over yet with Ricoh CX4 being the latest revelation. Ricoh finally introduced its latest 10-megapixel camera that comes with a rear-illuminated CMOS sensor. The CX4 is the successor of Ricoh’s successful CX3 digital camera.

Ricoh has implemented certain similar features to the CX3 in this camera. It comes with a wide-angle lens with a 10.7x optical zoom lens, and features f/3.5-5.6 brightness. The camera features a 3-inch LCD that comes with a resolution of 920,000 dots. The camera can be used to film HD video (1280 x 720 pixels).

Several features have been improved in the Ricoh CX4 from its predecessor CX3. Among them is the much improved image stabilization matrix and the subject-tracking autofocus. Its 28-300mm lens comes with an image sensor-shift stabilization feature that can reduce blur when it comes to shots. The camera also features creative filters and a Night landscape multi-shot mode. The Ricoh CX4 will be released in September and is already available for preorder on Amazon.
