The Navigon 7200T is a portable GPS navigator, ultra-slim black matte casing designed with a 4.3-inch diagonal touch screen colour LCD wide screen that comes with illumination display, 480-by-272-pixels high resolution, voice-command navigation of address entry, plus an advanced highway Lane Assistant Pro which direct users to the preferred lane. This GPS gadget is fitted with 2D maps or 3D maps and 3D major landmark views, ZAGAT ratings and reviews (over 27,000 locations of the best restaurant, hotel, golf course, nightclub, or attraction in 110 cities across the U.S. and Canada), and millions of pre-loaded Points of Interest. It features SiRF InstantFix II GPS receiver for faster lock onto GPS satellite, DirectHelp function for instant directions and phone numbers to the nearest hospitals, police stations, tow truck companies and pharmacies. Besides that, it also support PC connectivity with its USB mass storage device, support Bluetooth connectivity, 2 GB of built-in memory, microSD card slot for additional storage, along with 64 MB RAM.
The Navigon 7200T offers an innovative Speech Recognition capability that can accept voice commands of address entry where you can use your voice to request for required destination, while it’s Bluetooth Hands-Free and Reality View Pro helps you navigate with ease. The Reality View Pro feature provides a wider coverage in more places and it displays realistic 3D views along with actual signage, lane guidance and highway interchange that you will encounter during your journey. Its Bluetooth technology also can used as a hands-free speakerphone and it also allows you to access the phone contacts with a simple touch by using the touch screen to make a call. In addition, Microsoft Outlook contacts can also be added to the device using the Navigon Sync function. The Navigon 7200T help alerts you of traffic troubles and provides alternate routes through its Free Real-Time Traffic Updates for Life which comes together with the GPS navigator set. The red-yellow colour-coding with incident icons will be displayed on the screen informing the location of any incident, congestion, accidents or construction, and also the alternative route to take. It also can calculate routes using fast, optimum, and short ways thus giving users option whether to allow or avoid highways and toll roads, plus there are also pedestrian and bicycle modes.
