Motorola Droid Pro to compete with BlackBerry

Seems like expectations are already high for Motorola’s newest device, the Droid Pro; sources claim this device is set to compete directly with Blackberry. More so, as its design resembles BlackBerry’s design of its smartphones. Research In Motion is set to be in some heavy competition with Motorola as soon as the Droid Pro releases.

Motorola recently announced its new Droid Pro, which is a Google Android smartphone, prior to the 2010 CTIA Enterprise & Applications tradeshow launch. The phone, aimed for business users, features a 3.1-inch touch screen display and a QWERTY keypad. The reason why experts are claiming this phone will compete with BlackBerry is due to the fact that the Droid Pro sports several features that make it eligible to enter that competition.

On the other hand, BlackBerry might or might not have something to worry about as the brand is still the number one smartphone that is used by large corporate customers, thanks to the features present on its phone. In the Droid Pro, Motorola has created features that will allow IT professionals to safely manage the phone. Nevertheless, we can’t say much on this until the Motorola Droid Pro finally releases. Stay tuned.
