The LG 42PQ30 is an LCD display that supports 600Hz Sub Field Driving, 720p HD Resolution and Mega Contrast Ratio technology. It also features Intelligent Sensor, Smart Energy Saving features, is ISFccc ready and supports USB 2.0 and SimpLink connectivity. ISFccc Ready HDTVs contain the standards that calibrate brightness, contrast, tint, sharpness, color levels and much more to meet local lighting conditions for both day and nighttime viewing. Settings are added to preset modes for easy access from your LG remote. The 600Hz Sub Field Driving with a refresh rate technology that provides users with realistic movement in Sports, Action, Movies and Video games. The 2,000,000:1 Dynamic Contrast Ratio provides optimized image quality. The LG 42PQ30 also integrates 24P Real Cinema that lets users view movies with a real theater experience, three A/V modes of Cinema, Sports and Games, and lets users customize their settings to optimized each category. The unit also features integrated invisible speakers with Clear Voice II technology that increases the sound of the dialogues above the background noise. Fine-tuned by renowned audio expert Mr. Mark Levinson, the unit utilizes hidden speaker system that delivers optimized audio with a wider sound field. Clear Voice II also automatically enhances and amplifies the sound of the human voice frequency range to help keep dialogue audible when background noise swells. This feature can be personalized with a new 12-step adjustment level. The SimpLink connectivity also lets users connect all HD-ready gadgets to the HDTV and control all of them with a single remote. Other features on the 42PQ30 is AV Mode II which lets users select from one of three AV modes for “Cinema,” “Sports,” or “Games” and enjoy optimized HDTV picture and audio quality pre-set with a button on the remote control; and HDMI v1.3 for 10.2Gbps of bandwidth rate for deeper colors and Full HD experience.
