Japan gets ready for Toshiba Regza T-01C Android Smartphone

Great news for folks over on the other side of the map; Toshiba is getting ready to launch its Regza T-01C Android Smartphone there. Slated to launch in either December this year or January next year, Japan is gearing up for yet another smartphone from one of its number one brands.

The Toshiba Regza T-01C Android Smartphone happens to be the first Android-powered Smartphone from the company. It comes with a range of interesting features, which Toshiba hopes will attract a lot of buyers. It has GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity. It comes with a 4-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 480X854 pixels.

Toshiba’s Regza T-01C Android Smartphone runs on Android 2.1 OS. It comes with a 12-megapixel AF camera that is capable of recording 720p video. It measures 126×62x14.7 mm and weighs just 149gms. In Japan, it will be launched by the largest Japanese mobile operator, the NTT DoCoMo. So far, no word on its pricing yet.
