Intro
The Garmin nüvi 775T is a transatlantic GPS navigator system that incorporates lane assist to guide you to the properlane for navigation. It is the successor of the Garmin nüvi 765T, with the addition of transatlantic maps of Europe and North America. Similar to other nüvi 705-series, the Garmin nüvi 775T includes premium features such as 3-D building view, photo navigation, faster screen redraws, route planning, emergency and car locators.

The Garmin nüvi 775T incorporates lane assist that guides you to the correct lane for an approaching turn or exit for unfamiliar intersections and exits with display of realistic road signs and junctions on your route along with arrows to indicate proper lane for navigation. There is also an intuitive interface that greets users with only two questions; “Where to?” and “View Map”. Users need only touch the colour screen to easily look up addresses and services to get voice-prompted, turn-by-turn directions that speak street names to your destination. There are also preloaded detailed City Navigator NT street maps with nearly 6 million points of interest (POIs) and features such as digital elevation maps and 3-D building views in some areas. Custom POIs can also be uploaded. There is also an integrated FM traffic receiver that allows you to receive alerts about traffic delays and road construction that lie ahead on your route as well as displays traffic details and detour routs around the problem area. Route planning can also be done using the Garmin nüvi 775T with the ability to save up to 10 routes, specify via points and preview simulated turns on the widescreen. In addition to that, the Garmin nüvi 775T can also automatically sort multiple destinations to provide an efficient route for errands, deliveries or sales calls with displays for speed limits for highways and interstates as well as a trip log to provide an electronic bread crumb trail of up to 10,000 points.
