The Garmin nüvi 765T features lane assist that guides users to the proper lane for navigation and comes with features that includes 3-D building view, photo navigation, faster screen redraws, route planning, emergency and car locators. The 765T guides users to the correct lane for an approaching turn or exit via lane assist and displays road signs and junctions on route along with arrows that indicate the proper lane for navigation. It also provides an interface that greets users with two simple questions: “Where to?” and “View Map”. Users navigate the device by touching the color screen to look up addresses and services and get voice-prompted, turn-by-turn directions that speak street names to their destination. It comes preloaded with detailed City Navigator® NT street maps, 6 million points of interest (POIs) and features digital elevation maps and 3-D building view in some areas to help one orient themselves with surroundings. Users can also upload custom points of interest (POIs). With HotFix™ satellite prediction, nüvi calculates users’ position faster to get there quicker, and its ultra-fast map redraw ensures a smooth user interface. The Garmin nuvi 765T integrates A2DP Bluetooth® wireless technology with a built-in microphone and speaker (optional external microphone available) that allows users to pair it with compatible Bluetooth phone and talk hands-free through the Garmin nuvi 765T while staying focused on the road. Users dial numbers with its touchscreen keypad to make a call and tap the screen and speak into its built-in microphone to answer. It also allows users to listen to high-quality stereo music on a headset with A2DP Bluetooth technology. The nüvi 765T’s integrated FM traffic receiver lets users receive alerts about traffic delays and road construction that lie ahead on route; allows users to keep track of themselves and their car with nüvi 765T through the “Where Am I?” emergency locator to find the closest hospitals, police stations, fuel stations, nearest address and intersection; see exact latitude and longitude coordinates which helps users remember where they’ve parked their car by automatically marking position when it is removed from the windshield mount, so that users can navigate with nüvi on foot and find their way back to the vehicle.
