Reviews

“The Garmin Nuvi 260 offers drivers and travelers a more budget-friendly version of the popular portable navigation devices and includes text-to-speech, but we think the price is still slightly high for what you get.” (CNET, 2009)

“Like other devices in the series, the 260 will really excel for pedestrian use thanks to the “hold” switch at the top of the device that prevents accidental touch screen input if you put the device in your pocket. The small size and good battery life will also make this device an excellent choice for pedestrians.” (GPSReview, 2007)

“The Garmin nuvi 260 is the nicest of Garmin’s budget-line nuvi 200 series. This is a basic, no frills unit, but it has Garmin’s intuitive interface and something the other 200 series units don’t have — the ability to call out street names.” (GPSTrackLog, 2007)
