Features of Apple’s iPod Touch 4th Generation

At one of the most anticipated events yesterday since August, Apple finally unveiled its new iPod Touch – the fourth generation. Let’s talk more on its features. The volume rocker is now a two-button function, but with the same functions as on the previous iPods. There’s the screen lock button that is located on top right, and the headphone connection is on the bottom of the iPod.

The biggest change would be the two video cameras added on the iPod Touch; one is located in the front while the other one is at the back of the player. The camera on the front can be used for Apple’s Facetime video chat app, which was first unveiled on the iPhone 4. With an email address, users of the iPod Touch can use the player to place and receive video calls to other iPhones or iPod Touch of the same model. Within that, calls can be made in landscape mode as well. Camera views can be switched as well as the video transaction can be paused.
