Canon unveils PowerShot G12 and 35X Megazoom


This has been long awaited news; Canon has finally launched its PowerShot G12 and 35X Megazoom. The Canon PowerShot G12 is the latest point-and-shoot camera aimed at seasoned photographers. The 35X-optical-zoom PowerShot SX30 IS happens to incorporate the world’s wide-angle-to-telephoto range in a fixed-lens camera. Canon, which is the number one brand when it comes to digital imaging, has said that the PowerShot G12 and the 35X-optical-zoom PowerShot SX30 IS will be available by the end of this month.

The Canon PowerShot G12 is the successor of the PowerShot G11. It supports 720p high-definition video recording and comes with stereo microphones. Canon ha featured new shooting modes for both stills and video in this camera. The brand has also changed the image-stabilization and Auto mode features in the PowerShot G12.

The Canon PowerShot SX30 IS, a 14-megapixel, CCD-based camera, comes with F2.7 lens with 35X optical zoom that can range from an ultra-wide-angle 24mm to a far-reaching 840mm telephoto. It offers optical image stabilization. Both of these new Canon devices will be released by the end of this month.
