The Asus Eee PC 1000HA is a netbook that hails from Asus’Eee PC series. It comes in four colours namely, white, black, green and red. There is a large screen and a large keyboard that is 92% the size of a generic notebooks. It is also equipped with a large 10.1 inch display. The Asus Eee PC 1000HA also comes with a total of 160 GB storage capacity and 10 GB online Eee Storage.

The Asus Eee PC 1000HA runs on a genuine Windows XP Home operating system that is usually pre-installed in Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 version. There is a 10.1 inch display that has LED backlight. In terms of its Intel CPU and chipset, the Asus Eee PC 1000HA also incorporates an Intel Atom N270. It also supports wireless data network of 802.11 b/g. As for its memory, the Asus Eee PC 1000HA incorporates a 1 GB DDR2. The Asus Eee PC 1000HA also supports hybrid storage with a total of 160 GB HDD capacity plus 10 GB of Eee Storage online. There is also a 1.3 mega pixel camera that is situated right on top of the display screen. In terms of audio, the Asus Eee PC 1000HA has built-in stereo speakers and a digital array mic. “The ASUS Eee PC 1000HA held up quite well in our testing and turned out to be a worthwhile contender for those shopping for an affordable netbook model. Offering most of the same features as the more expensive netbooks, including the sought-after 6-cell battery, consumers aren’t missing much when choosing this budget model. While the touchpad was a disappointment during use, it was the only big negative mark on the notebook. “Just as many earlier models of the ASUS Eee PC came bundled with a couple of useful, but remarkably inexpensive, accessories, such is also the case with the 1000HA. In addition to the netbook itself, inside the box you’ll find the power adapter, a cleaning cloth, a protective cover for the keyboard, and a suede-like sleeve for easy travel. I like the tiny size of the power supply, adding to the portability of this netbook.
