The Asus Eee PC 1000H comes in four colour options, Sakura, Sweet Pea, Pearl White and Fine Ebony. It weighs approximately 1.45 kg.

It has a keyboard that is 92% the size of generic notebooks for more comfortable typing and relaxed usage. The Asus Eee PC 1000H incorporates the Asus exclusive Super Hybrid Engine for longer battery lifespan of up to 7 hours, offering a choice of performance and power consumption modes for easy adjustments according to various needs. Not only that, the Asus Eee PC 1000H has up to 10 GB of exclusive file-encrypted Eee Storaged with 5 GB worth of downloads per day for easy accessibility. The Asus Eee PC 1000H can run on either a genuine Windows XP Home that is pre-installed with Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007 60 day trial, or GNU Linux. It incorporates an Intel Atom N270 chipset, WLAN 802.11 n and supports Bluetooth. Not only that, it also has a capacity of 80 GB or 160 GB on its hard disk drive. There is also a 1.3 mega pixel web camera situated on top of the screen for web conferencing and video chats. “Those looking for a larger mini-notebook with a good sized screen and a spacious keyboard will find nearly everything they are looking for. However, the similarly configured MSI Wind NB offers comparable performance and endurance for $150 less, although some will prefer the 1000H’s slick aesthetics.
